Every parent has read certain books to their children more times than they can count. For countless reasons, our kids fall in love with particular books and will ask us to read them over and over and over, sometimes in quick succession before bedtime. When my girls were little, they had their definite favorites, which in turn have become near and dear to the hearts of mom and dad.

Food Fight! by Carol Diggory Shields. A wonderful book about all the food in the fridge getting into a late night smack down. I loved reading this book.

Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb by Al Perkins. This is as fun to read as it is to listen to. Meolodic, funny and perfect for getting kids to smile.

Five Little Piggies by David Martin. I read this one so much, I could probably still recite it word for word, 10 years later.
